Outputs / Energy

Thermal energy
on demand.

The Aluminum-Water Reactor produces thermal energy as its primary output.
Use it directly as process heat, convert it to electricity, or both.

What comes off the reaction

Heat first.

Reaction heat pathsContinuous thermal output can be used directly as process heat or sent through a steam turbine to produce electricity.REACTION HEATContinuous thermal outputPATH ADirect process heatPATH BSteam turbine → electricity

The reaction between aluminum and water is exothermic. It produces continuous, controllable thermal energy, available as steam or hot water depending on site configuration.

Most generation technologies produce electricity and treat heat as loss. The Aluminum-Water Reactor produces heat and lets the site decide what to do with it. Where a facility already needs process heat, direct use avoids conversion losses.

How the reactor works

How it is used

Where the heat goes.

Every site is different. What does not change is that heat used as heat is worth more than heat converted to electricity.

01

Greenhouseheating

Controlled-environment agriculture runs on heat year-round. Reactor heat can displace boiler load directly, with electricity as the secondary output.

02

Industrial processheat

Drying, curing, sterilization, and food and beverage processing. Continuous steam demand can take reactor output without a conversion step.

03

District andcampus heating

Institutional sites with existing hot-water or steam loops can connect without redesigning the distribution system.

04

Remote andoff-grid sites

Where heat and power both have to be trucked in as diesel, one modular system covers both.

Scale

Add capacity when
you need it.

One barrel is one 2MW module, containerized to a standard footprint. Capacity adds in standard modules, designed to minimize redesign of the base installation.

2MW

A single factory-built module.

02

+2MW

Modules added as site demand grows.

03

n MW+

Capacity adds in standard modules, designed to minimize redesign of the base installation.
