Deployments / Hamilton
Hamilton makes heat, hydrogen, and alumina.
GH Power's reactor has operated in Hamilton. Reactor testing and product sampling are underway as the company builds toward full commercial production.
The site
A Hamilton facility within Steelport.
Our Hamilton facility, approximately 31,779 sq ft of leased space at Unit 4, 1055 Burlington Street East, Hamilton, sits on Slate Asset Management's Steelport lands.
Steelport is an 800-acre industrial redevelopment, and GH Power is one piece of that broader vision. Its master plan prioritizes advanced manufacturing, clean infrastructure, district energy, and on-site power management.
Generational industrial land, planned around exactly the kind of demand the reactor was built to serve. GH Power's reactor testing and product sampling are underway there.

Feedstock
Recycled aluminum,
sourced in-region.
GH Power's reactors run on scrap aluminum from the Hamilton-area metal recycling industry. Sourcing within the region keeps the supply chain short and feedstock close to the plant.
The reactor is designed to use scrap grades with limited value in conventional re-melting. It produces 1 MW of heat and 1 MW of hydrogen energy per module, convertible to on-site electricity through fuel cells or generators, alongside aluminum trihydrate (ATH), the precursor to high-purity alumina.

Heat and energy
Reactor heat, designed for on-site use.
Reactor testing underway; interconnection subject to approval.
The reaction is exothermic. The Hamilton reactor produces thermal energy, available as steam or hot water, usable directly as process heat or converted to electricity.
The site is not yet interconnected to an offtaker. Its location within an industrial district designed around advanced manufacturing and district energy places potential output close to demand; connection and delivery remain site-dependent.
| Module capacity | 1 MW heat + 1 MW hydrogen energy (combined module output) |

Hydrogen
Hamilton's hydrogen is contracted under an executed offtake agreement.
Offtake contracted. Deliveries scale with production.
The reaction produces fuel-grade hydrogen alongside heat. Hamilton's hydrogen is contracted under an executed offtake agreement. Deliveries scale with production; this does not imply completed deliveries or customer payments.

Alumina
Engineered to target specification.
Samples available for customer qualification.
The reaction generates alumina trihydrate. The proprietary polishing line is engineered to target alumina specifications; samples are available for customer qualification.
Material sampled at Hamilton is being evaluated against preliminary specifications for battery and specialty-glass applications. Qualification is how this industry works: a buyer tests against its own specification before contracting.
Specification sheets and assay data are available on request.
